Complexity is not something I usually associate with black metal, but Abusiveness is complex and raw at the same time. Honestly There's very few black metal bands that can favorably compare to my favorite death metal bands, but holy fuck if Abusiveness doesn't come about as close as possible. This album is truly remarkable. Many thanks go to Abusiveness for creating this atmospheric black metal opus. Certainly a nearly flawless release.

Although not a major Black Metal fan this album is technically what the genre should be all about. Even with the vocals being clear and hard edged, not monotone.
