Wykked Witch - Memories Of A Dying Whore

First off, yes, the vocalist is a woman. Not an attractive one, but still. She growls and screams quite well though. The music is highly produced, with the drums and guitars being a key selling point as to why you should check this out.
It's at least worth a good chuckle to look at their myspace.

Genre: Gothic Metal / Extreme Metal / Pseudo Mall-Core Black Metal

Bleeding Through - Declaration (2008)

http://lix.in/-331127

Apparently after much shit tossing between them and their label (Trustkil) this album is finally set to be released.. then the internet came along. Well I'm sure that'll kill it for 'em.. but ah well.

It's metalcore, I guess. Your own judgement will be the..er.. judge, of that.

Emmure

asty- either copypasta this to your old post or sumptin - links dead (update: swapped the dead link with the new one)

This band and its affiliated genre get mixed reviews. Some say this band, Recon & Acacia Strain all sound the exact same, which exemplify the staleness of the genre. Others swear to a particular band as the flagship of the genre, spouting them the bee's knees. What genre are they though? Deathcore? Metalcore? Hardcore? Whatever. I enjoy them thoroughly.
The mixture of creative lyrics and prose strewn into a stew befuddled with kitten-shitting educing breakdowns and gutturals puts them at the forerunning. If your curious you can snag any of these (I suggest the first 2, to start) for a refreshing look at a genre, the lot of you, would find unappealing.

Obituary - Left To Die (2008)

Holy shit, they re-recorded Slowly We Rot! Will it further up the awesomeness, or ruin the authentic feel to the classic song?! Everyone's shitting their pants from the excitement, I know you wanna hear this song too!

Deicide - The Stench Of Redemption (2006)

This album recieved mixed responses from fans. Deicide have released some stunning classics, but their carreer shows some mediocre and shitty albums aswell. The band needed some fresh blood. This came in the form of two new guitarists who replaced the Hoffman brothers: Jack Owen from Cannibal Corpse, and Ralph Santolla from Iced Earth. This added a noticeable twist to their music, namely melodies you wouldn't expect to hear from this band and an abundance of solos. Long story put short, The Stench Of Redemption is a different Deicide in a love it or hate it way. I find it very enjoyable, it's a good example of death metal with heaviness, speed and melody with a modern sound, but if you're looking for something more traditional, I suggest you grab either of the first two albums.

People who never fail to enrage me

I don't understand what makes people believe SHARING MUSIC is thievery.

This shitty blog probably just spread the name of your band. You should respect "pirates" for the job they do for the good of everyone. Your greed won't even let you see the benefits of giving a possibly shitty, and utterly expensive CD a try just to see if it's worth spending money on. And don't come to me with your bullshit of having to spends thousands of dollars and months of time writing and recording your albums, the end result is most likely just a waste of time anyway.

"hahaha you fucking pansies are stealing music and complaining when the person you are stealing from tells you to stop? Jeez, fucking grow up. It's not like they arrested anybody or even tried to shut down the blog. Take your slap on the wrist and go about your business." - Anonymous (posted in deeds of douchebaggery against loadown)

Nobody's stealing music, shut the fuck up. It's not like anyone went into your house and stole your son's pocket money by downloading some mp3 files.

"fyi-i'm in a band on relapse, that loadown posted a record of. i appreciate that you all are into what we do, i really do. but giving our record away without even asking our permission is not cool. that's money out of our pocket that we need to survive. i asked relapse to try and take our record down from this blog. in the future you should really ask bands permission before giving their work away." - Anonymous (posted in deeds of douchebaggery against loadown)

Nice job, you probably managed to write some pretty awesome music, and you messaged me without sounding like an angsty 15-year-old. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty stoked. What turns me down is that you don't seem to understand how the interwebs work most of the time. Nobody asks for this kind of permission. Why don't you go ahead and tell Relapse to do the same with, let's say, Demonoid? What about The Pirate Bay? They have a lot more music than we do, and probably have your band's stuff aswell. I'm doing you a favor by removing albums at request, so you won't have to bugger the label to do it - tell me your band wants the post off and I'll remove it immediately. That way you're only losing one person's absolute respect. If I recieve more emails of labels demanding that I remove something, I'm posting it here for everyone to see. I'm sure it will convince the world of your generosity, and persuade them buy your stuff.

"now you want to be a dick? with your posts about Relapse? pull this now or you will be shut down.
Wait who's that knocking at your door? Hope it's the FBI you fucking cowardly thief." - Anonymous (posted in Toxic Holocaust - An Overdose Of Death)

Nobody said a bad thing about Relapse you twat. You should be the one who's shut down, you can't even comprehend the concept of multiple contributors. Also, nice balls, posting anonymously. So I'm the coward? Think again. I'm removing the Rapidshare link from the post...but I'm redirecting this guy to last measure just in case he wants to prove his hypocrisy again by trying to download from here.

Cheers lads. And don't be bitter about downloading, you will either have to give up on your greedy crusade or support us - you can't possibly think you can kill all of us off.

"I don't understand band members who whine about it. Most likely they're not getting paid, so it shouldn't matter, or if they are it's so much that it shouldn't matter."

About the band:
The band was found to create truly melancholic and desperate soundscapes
and to unravel the blackened thoughts, the blessing and the curse of the
inability to think either black or white nor inbetween. To narrate about
the ability to find clarity in madness positivity in the negativity
shelter in the dark... To point it out clear! The band is dedicated to
the searching Not to the self-pity Totalselfhatred is a symbol for
ressurrection through pain A pool for the frustrated for the despereate
in life for those living and bleeding towards a higher truth To crush the
circles of self-inflicted suffering! For I am my worst enemy...

Asbestoscape - Asbestoscape (2007)

"You can think of Asbestoscape as a quasi quadruple hybrid who combine the brooding heaviness of Isis, the dark industrial feel of Nine Inch Nails, the crazy breakbeats of Amon Tobin, and the droning ambience of Nadja and bind them together by their common thread of darkness." - Decoy Music

Yup, that's it. I really can't describe it better because I'm not an expert on the genre, but you probably get the idea. It's melancholic and gloomy. Apocalypse music. I enjoyed it.

Gorerotted - Only Tools And Corpses (2003)

When I was a kid, I used to think Gorerotted play the sickest, most gory and barbaric kind of music ever made. Later I realized this isn't quite the truth, but I still admired their twisted sense of humor and musical creativity. What we have here is a slab of brutish death metal chock-full of hooks. The songtitles are the kind you probably won't forget (fuck your arse with broken glass!!) and you can safely assume that the lyrics spewn forth by the two vocalists are pretty much similar. The catchiness of this album is immense. It's a metric fuckton of groove.
