Excellent, breakdown-oriented metalcore. It's very intense and diverse, some riffs are very aggressive, even brutal compared to most metalcore stuff, while others are melodic and incredibly catchy. I'd describe them as The Acacia Strain meets new Bury Your Dead, but Emmure have more than just that. I suggest you give the album a listen yourself... before I heard it I thought they're just another mediocre band, now I'm saying it's the best metalcore album of the year.
